On our last day of our road trip we arrived in Santa Barbara. A little Spanish-style village. Normally the weather is always very nice here but when we arrived the television & radio channels were talking about ‘the big storm’. A little bit worried we discovered that 'the big storm’, would be named 'Autumn’ back home .
We stayed in since the rain was pretty heavy & took the advantage to rest a little bit because we were still (yes still… :)) suffering from a small jet lag.
The day after we went for a walk on the beach and took some family pictures. (Apologies when it’s to much ) it was the first time that we noticed the palm trees… LA couldn’t be far anymore!
The last night we slept in a ‘Best Western beachside inn’ and if you are looking for a hotel just for a night we can really recommend this one. We had two rooms, one living room and one bedroom & they put a pack & play bed in the room. Result = Mommy & daddy had the perfect night! Thank you Best Western!
