CRISTE MARINE COLLECTION • Small gold-plated brass earrings (1 micron) that climb along the earlobe. Their design is inspired by the Criste Marine, a plant that grows in rocky seaside areas. I continue my botanical exploration of my nearby and distant territory with the Criste Marine, also known as rock samphire or sea fennel, a plant that grows close to the sea in rocky areas and which I have observed both on the Charente coast, on the Île de Ré, in the Mediterranean, and also in the Azores on the volcanic rock bordering the island of Pico.
