On our second day we took our rental bikes and drove up to Scheveningen. The weather was on our side so the day couldn’t be more beautiful. We stopped a few times to check out the very-very-very beautiful houses in the streets near Madurodam. 

Once we arrived at the beach my companion wanted to eat an ice-cream and have a walk on the beach.

I can’t really recommend Scheveningen ‘beach’  because it has a little bit of a ‘to commercial’ vibe for me personally but hey, we can’t complain. The sun was on our side so everything was perfect anyway. :)

On our way back to the main street we grabbed a bite in a Mcdonalds. (Not my personal favourite but since this weekend was all about my lovely godchild she could pick the lunch this time! )

The Hague really has a variety of different food hotspots, since...



The Hague really has a variety of different food hotspots, since we were here only for 2 days we checked out 2 different locations.

The first one was ‘Frites Atelier Amsterdam’, well yeah …we’re flemish and we know better when it comes to ‘Vlaamse Friet’. But Sergio changed the ‘style’ of eating chips. And we must say they are very -YUMMIE-.

The second one was The Pasta Kantine’, a dutch pasta concept with a beautiful interior & located on a lovely location in The Hague. (Prins Hendrikplein). You can order all ‘original’ pasta’s here ‘normal’ or glutenfree. And they do an extra efford to prepare everything with bio products. (A win-win situation they call this I believe!)
