GENERAL

 

The My Ex Boyfriend web shop, with it’s headquarters in Mechelen, BTW BE0669.790.443, sells original furniture pieces, created in the second half of de 20th century, home décor accessories & gifts.

 

These Terms & Conditions shall apply to all sales through My Ex Boyfriend and will exclude application of any deviating general or specific conditions or terms of the buyer. No waiver or modification of these Conditions of Sale shall be binding upon My Ex Boyfriend, unless approved in writing by an authorized representative of My Ex Boyfriend.
 

My Ex Boyfriend composes their website and product range with the utmost care. Yet it is possible that the provided information may contain errors or is not up to date. The colours of the pictures may differ slightly from the actual colours of the products. If you have any questions about the size, colour, availability or delivery options don’t hesitate to contact My Ex Boyfriend.

 

PRICE


Every product is shown including tax. Shipment, reservation or other costs can be found at the "Shipment & Pick up" page, check out or can be requested via e-mail or a telephone. The indicated prices refer to the product as described in the accompanying text. The photo’s are decorative and can contain ornamental elements that are not included in the price.

 

The shipping costs depend on the chosen products (furniture (Furniture delivery) or home accessories (Standard delivery)) and the delivery address (domestic or international). Customers outside Belgium, Holland, Luxembourg, Germany or France are asked to send an e-mail to arrange the delivery of vintage furniture pieces. My Ex Boyfriend will notify the customer once we received a priceoffer from one of our reliable transport companies before any payments are processed. For

 

If the delivery address is outside the European union, please note that shipments are always bound with an incoming tax. Unfortunately My Ex Boyfriend is unable to disclose the exact amount of this tax, because these are different for each country. You can find out the tax amount with the customs office of your country.

PAYMENT

 

Orders can be paid in the following ways:
- Cash at pick up.
- Payment via the Bankcontact terminal or app at our My Ex Boyfriend Store
- Payment in advance by bank transfer.
- Payments online are possible via Paypal, KBC/CBC, Belfius, ING, IDEAL & Bancontact
- Payment in store via Payconcic app.
- Eco Cheques or Mechelenbon

 

DELIVERY

 

All products can either be picked up personally from our Myexboyfriendstore in Mechelen, or be delivered by regular mail (small items, deco & gifts), our personal delivery service (furniture) or a shipping company.

If you choose to pick up your purchases personally, you will be able to pick up your order during our opening hours. You will receive all necessary information via e-mail right after your order has been confirmed. Please make sure to set an appointment -within the week- on one of the pickup days beforehand, either via a phone call, or wait until we contact you via e-mail. When choosing for home pickup, you can pay at the check out of our webshop / in advance via a bank transfer-, pay in cash or pay via the Bankcontact-app

If you wish to have your order delivered in Belgium please inform us your delivery address. You will receive all necessary information via e-mail right after your order has been accepted. The shipping costs, delivery dates and delivery service may vary depending on different products. Furniture will be delivered by our personal delivery service, Home Accessories will be delivered by ‘Sendmyparcel/ bpost’.
 

 

RETURN POLICY

 

My Ex Boyfriend’s return policy period is 14 days.

My Ex Boyfriend shall, if under the jurisdiction of our return policy, refund you what you have paid for the product and/or service as soon as possible, but latest within 14 days of the product being returned. You are obliged to pay for the return delivery of the product. My Ex Boyfriend will pay to send replacement products and/or services.

In your message to us you must inform us for the reason of return + the ordernumber. The return period is counted from the day we shipped the product. If you have purchased a customized product -or a product with a significant personal customization, the return period is counted from the day My Ex Boyfriend has informed you about the product.

 

When returning a product:

-You are obliged to keep the product in the same condition as when delivered. The item/items must be returned in an original condition in the original packaging.

-You must not have used the product, however you have the right to investigate the condition the product was in when delivered. If damage or harm is caused to a product while investigating the product does not qualify for the return policy.
 

We strongly recommend to check the goods upon the arrival. If the piece is not to your liking, our personal delivery service can take it back and you will be refunded for your order (excl. the shipping cost). If the products where delivered by another delivery company or ‘bpost’, please check the product when the delivering company employee is still present. If there is something wrong with the product, write that down together with the delivery company.

 

PRIVACY POLICY

 

Personal data is treated confidentially by My Ex Boyfriend.

The personal data is used to:

  1. Process the order, the payment and to deliver the products to the correct delivery address.

  2. Bring you updates over My Ex Boyfriend, via newslettres. If you wish you can always unsubscribe. If this is the case please contact us by e-mail.

Information will not be passed to a third party.
