Earrings - Small Climbers Ohia

- OHIA COLLECTION - Small climber earrings gilded with fine gold (they go up along the lobe). They imitate the graceful stamens of the Ohia flower that grows in the lava fields of Hawaii. Delicate, they subtly follow the shape of the ear. • Dimensions: W: 1.9 cm x H: 0.8 cm • Composition: 1 micron gold-plated brass • French manufacturing This collection is inspired by Ohia flowers (a flower shrub) of immense beauty that can range from yellow to bright red. Many Hawaiian traditions claim that the tree is sacred and is associated with many legends. We call Ohia Lehua, the flower goddess. This flower-shrub grows on the lava lake of Kilauea Iki (island of Hawaii). Photo: Lisa Raio
